°Celsius provides every client with a robe, socks, slippers, and gloves for the purpose of protecting your extremities during treatment. Men and women are required to wear their own underwear or shorts. All clients must remove jewelry and exterior body piercings below the neck. Additionally, clients should not apply oils, lotions, or cologne prior to treatment. 

The following conditions are contraindications to whole body cryotherapy:

• Untreated Hypertension
• Heart attack within previous 6 months
• Decompensating diseases (edema) of the cardiovascular and respiratory system
• Congestive Heart Failure
• COPD
• Chronic liver disease
• Unstable Angina Pectoris
• Pacemaker
• Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease
• Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or known circulatory dysfunction
• Acute febrile respiratory (Flu like respiratory conditions)
• Acute kidney and urinary tract diseases
• Severe Anemia
• Cold Allergenic Phenomenon (known allergy to cold contactants)
• Heavy consumerist diseases (abnormal bleeding)
• Seizure disorders
• Bacterial and viral infections of the skin
• Wound healing disorders (open sores or discharging wound/skin conditions)
• Alcohol and drug abuse
• Valvular heart disease
• Recent heart surgery
• Ischemic heart disease
• Raynaud’s disease
• Polyneuropathies
• Pregnancy
• Vasculitis
• Hyperhidrosis – heavy perspiration
• Diabetes

Each client will have to complete an assessment waiver prior to treatment. If there are any contraindications a staff member will review them with you. Clients may be required to obtain a physician's consent for whole body cryotherapy.

Children under 18 must have written consent and a guardian present.

Clients may undress to their comfort level, as infrared wavelengths are best absorbed by increased skin exposure. Our infrared sauna is in a private room. Clients will be provided with a light towel wrap.  As a friendly reminder, our location does not have showers available. Deodorizing wipes are available after your session.

The following conditions are contraindications to infrared sauna use:

• Pregnancy
• Hemophilia
• Heart conditions
• Conditions associated with impaired sweating
• Anyone with a severe medical condition not listed above should get doctor’s consent before doing the infrared sauna.

Cryo-EMS treatments may be done once every two weeks. The reason is that when fat cells die, waste is formed. The waste is then eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and urine).

It is recommended to not eat 3 hours  before the treatment as it can cause nausea in rare cases.  Please make sure to always drink enough water after your session to assist in moving waste out of the lymphatic system. For optimal results, clients should participate in vigorous exercise at least 2 times a week along with following a healthy nutritious diet.

The flowing conditions are contraindications to Cryo-EMS

• Raynaud’s syndrome
• Allergy to cold
• Lymphatic Disorders
• Kidney/Liver Disease
• Pregnant/Breast Feeding
• Diabetes
• Cancer
• HIV/AIDS
• Open/fresh wounds
• Implanted devices

We request clients wait 4 weeks for fillers and botox to settle to avoid any complications.

As a courtesy, please call or text us as soon as you know that you are unable to make your scheduled appointment. If you miss an appointment or fail to provide 12 hour notice, you will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee.
